4. Expand an IPU‑POD₆₄ to a larger IPU-POD system

IPU-POD systems that are larger than IPU‑POD₆₄ are built from multiple IPU‑POD₆₄ systems.

So, in order to expand to a system larger than a IPU‑POD₆₄, you need to:

• Refer to the build and test guide for your target system to determine how many additional IPU‑POD₆₄ systems you will need.

• Build the extra IPU‑POD₆₄ systems that you require for your target system following the instructions in the IPU-POD64 Reference Design: Build and Test Guide.

• Connect each IPU‑POD₆₄ system as described in the build and test guide for your target system.

• Test your new larger IPU-POD system as described in the build and test guide for your target system.

• Install the software on the management server(s) as described in the build and test guide for your target system.
