2. Summary report¶
This file contains details about the host system used.
2.1. Generating the report¶
The summary report file is generated by running the gc-profile
command with
your Poplar program as an argument. For example:
$ gc-profile -d . -- ./myprogram
This will run the Poplar program myprogram
and save a report file called
profile_info.json
in the current directory (-d .
option).
2.2. Contents of the report¶
The report contains information about the environment that the program was run in.
A sample report is shown below:

The report starts with the command used the run your program.
It then shows the list of environment variables set up by gc-profile
before running your program, the time the program was run and the versions
of the tools used.
